Entry Level Opportunities

Diet Technician

Leads day-to-day responsibility for menu management. Instructs patients and/or hospital personnel in basic principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet.

Clinical Dietitian

Provides comprehensive nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients and/or hospital personnel in complex principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet.

Unit Leadership Opportunities

Clinical Nutrition Manager

Coordinates and directs the efforts of all patient care areas of an account. Assists Clinical Area Support Manager in completion of projects, assessment of clinical programs at other accounts and mentoring of less experienced Clinical Nutrition Managers. May direct a dietetic intern.

General Manager

Manages and operates all contract management service operations at a single account. Actively participates in the daily functions of the unit. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations, senior most person assigned to one client account.

Area General Manager

Directs all contract management service operations at a single unit and provides additional resources to multiple accounts in the area. Assists District Manager, while supporting and mentoring General Managers in respective area of responsibility.

Wellness Director

Develops and administers wellness programs based on the development and alignment of the clients' mission and vision. Provides direction for planning strategic goals, standards, and maintaining effective communication with other managers and interdepartmental liaisons. Programs may include physical fitness, weight-reduction, smoking cessation, early-detection and Wellness related programs.

Regional Leadership Opportunities

Manager of Nutrition & Menu Systems

Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Sodexo master recipe, ingredient, menu and nutrient database. Ensures continuity and accuracy of recipe, inventory, menu, costing and nutrient data.

Internship Coordinator

Directs and coordinates the dietetic internship, responsible for internship curriculum. Ensures the supervised practical and didactic experiences prepare interns for dietetic registration.

Senior Manager of Medical Nutrition Therapy

Under guidance from the Vice President, Nutrition Services, provides direction and oversight to the Medical Nutrition Theory program. Drives program development, supervises billing staff and provides training and support to unit staff. Develops policies and procedures of program.

Regional Dietitian

Provides staff clinical services at multiple accounts in a geographic area. May oversee staff dietitians or diet technicians at assigned accounts which includes auditing, staffing, and performance appraisals. Requires travel between accounts.

Clinical Area Support Manager

Serves as a subject matter expert on standards and practices for patient/clinical services. Works with operations constituents in areas relating to financial management, people management, account development, and account operations. Supports the implementation of new unit openings, including the development and administration of training plans.

District Manager

Serves as the primary representative of Sodexo for multiple accounts in a designated geographic area. Responsible for successfully coordinating and directing all activities within the assigned geographic area through subordinate managers, supervisors and employees including financial performance, client retention, and employee training and development.

National Director Clinical Nutrition

Provides direction and leadership to the Nutrition program. Ensures nutrition resources are current and meet regulatory, market, client and practitioner needs. Develops and updates division-specific nutrition strategic plan. Coordinates participation of Clinical Area Support Managers and Regional Dietitians. Drives on-going program development.

Senior Leadership Opportunities

Vice President

Responsible for strategic and business planning and management for a specific geography within a Division. Provides leadership and direction for all business aspects within the assigned geography including account operations, growth, and retention, staff development and training, and financial growth and accountability.
